12/12/14 – Fairhill Reunion Dinner Party
Former Fairhill students, staff, and families gathered at Tyler School of Art for fun and reflection.
On December 12th, for the first time since Fairhill School’s budget-related closure in 2009, former students, staff, and families reunited to share stories and have fun together. Food, music, hugs, and laughter warmed the classroom for the reunion, which kicked off a series of reForm events focused on the effects of the school’s closure on the Fairhill community.
The reunion was held in a Tyler School of Art classroom, which will be transformed over the next months by artist Pepón Osorio. The installation will incorporate objects from the shuttered Fairhill School, and will be open to the public on August 28th, 2015.
Photos from the event are posted on the reForm Facebook page here.
